The iPad’s reputation as a serious music making tool is growing fast. Several accomplished artists including Gorillaz and Bjork have already produced albums using the Apple tablet, and its prestige within the music world is on the rise.

iElectribe

If you’re looking for old school beats for your dance music tracks, iElectribe is a highly capable tool for the job. Based around Korg’s Electribe series of rhythm synthesizers, the application offers various pre-set patterns and templates. These can be tinkered with to create some quite elaborate beats.

For those who need a bit more control, iElectribe boasts 64 user banks that have just a single trigger on the downbeat of each measure. There are eight basic sounds to play around with and knobs for altering pitch and waveforms. Price: $19.99

miniSynth Pro

Another analog-style synthesizer for iPad, miniSynth Pro is an accomplished two-oscillatorFM/subtractive hybrid polysynth. Among its features are a dynamic waveform selection algorithm, individually parameterized voice processing and a dual dedicated arpeggiator module.

This is a great alternative to the essential apps.

  CrossDJ is another decent app for DJs. It sports the same features as most of the other apps in this AppGuide and does have an attractive interface. For some reason this app seems to heat up the iPad and fast. It doesn't include auto mix or midi control which can be a downside for a DJ app.

Impaktor เป็น app ใหม่ที่น่าตื่นตาตื่นใจสำหรับ iOS วิดีโอแสดงการใช้แอปพลิเคบน iPhone และ Ipad มันเจ๋งตรงไหน ก็ตรงที่เวลาเราเคาะโต๊ะ มันจะเปลี่ยนเสียงสั่นสะเทือนเป็นเสียงดนตรี ง่ายๆ เอาไปใช้งานได้นะ

และมี  presets พร้อมใช้มากกว่า 90 presets และมี  track ให้อันอีก 6  track ยังไม่พอยังมียังมี modulation parameters เอาไว้ปรับเสียงให้ดีอีก สามารถส่งออกไฟล์ WAV

Garageband – Studio ส่วนตัวของนักดนตรี [iPad App Review]

ในการทำเพลงบน Ipad Iphone App ที่ตอบสนองได้ดีที่สุดคงหนีไม่พ้น Garageband ซึ่งผมถือว่าเป็น App ทำเพลงที่ครบเครื่องมากที่สุด กับราคาที่ซื้อมา ประมาณ 4.99$
GarageBand คือ Software ที่เริ่มแรกมีใน Mac  ที่ใช้ในการสอนเล่นกีตาร์และเปียโน หรือว่าใช้แต่งเพลง , ส่วน Version บน iPad มันต่างกันยังไง? Version บน iPad มันทำให้เรา input เสียงได้ง่ายกว่า , เราสามารถเล่นเครื่องดนตรีต่างๆได้ผ่านหน้าจอ touch screen และ interface ที่เหมือนจริง(มากๆ) , ถ้าเล่นบน mac เครื่องดนตรีต่างๆ ต้องเล่นผ่าน keyboard เท่านั้น เครื่องดนตรีที่มีสาย ก็ไม่สามารถทำ interface สั่นสาย ดันสายได้…  แต่บน touch screen ไม่มีปัญหา!!!!


ใน GarageBand บน iPad นั้นมีเครื่องดนตรีที่จำเป็นทุกชิ้น และยังมี loop สำเร็จรูปให้เราด้วย ทำให้เราสามารถสร้างเพลงได้ง่ายๆ เรียกว่า มี iPad เครื่องเดียวก็สามารถทำเพลงแบบเจ๋งๆได้เลย ไม่ต้องมีกีตาร์ ไม่ต้องมีกลอง ไม่ต้องมีไมโครโฟน ไม่ต้องมีอะไรเลย อ่อ แต่ต้องมีนิ้วไว้กด กับสมองไว้คิดนิดนึง อ่อมีหูด้วย อ่อมีตาด้วย…ไปกันใหญ่แล้ว เอาเป็นว่าคุณมี iPad คุณไม่มีเครื่องดนตรีอะไรเลยคุณก็สร้างเพลงแบบเจ๋งๆได้แล้ว

เครื่องดนตรี
Drum กลอง: มีทั้งกลองจริง และ drum machine, มี Smart Drum ที่ให้เราสามารถ สร้าง beat อัตโนมัติ โดยแค่เราเลือก อุปกรณ์ ความเร็วในการตีและเสียงดังเบา
Guitar กีตาร์: มีทั้งกีตาร์โปร่ง กีตาร์ไฟฟ้าเสียงใส กีตาร์ไฟฟ้า rock (เสียงโหด) , สามารถเล่นได้ทั้ง Chord และ note เดี่ยวๆ , ลากสาย ดันสาย เกี่ยวสาย ไม่มีปัญหา
Guitar Amp: เล่นกีตาร์จำลองแล้วไม่พอใจ เล่นของจริงอัดใส่ได้เลย โปรแกรมจะทำหน้าที่จำลองเสียงของ Amp ชนิดต่างๆเอง
Bass Guitar กีตาร์เบส: มีเบสไฟฟ้า มีเซลโล่ ลักษณะการเล่นเหมือน กีตาร์
Keyboard คีย์บอร์ด: ผมว่ามีให้เลือกครบทุกอย่างที่ Keyboard จะมีได้อะ ตั้งแต่ เปียโน เปียโนไฟฟ้า ออร์แกน , synth bass, synth lead, synth pad, และเสียง effect ต่างๆ แล้วก็มี Smart Keyboard ไว้สำหรับคนที่เล่นไม่เป็นอีกด้วย เพียงแค่กดปุ่มเดียว มันก็จะเล่นให้ทั้ง Chord ทั้ง Melody เองเลย
Audio Recorder:  ไมโครโฟนนั่นเอง อัดเสียงร้องเราลงไป จะใช้ไมค์จาก iPad เองก็ได้ หรือถ้ากลัวเสียงไม่ดี ก็เสียบสายต่อไมค์ดีๆเข้าไปเป็น input ได้เหมือนกัน … แถมยังมี effect เสียงร้องด้วย เช่น เสียงก้อง เสียงในสายโทรศัพท์ เสียงหุ่นยนต์ เสียงแหลม
Sampler:  ชอบเพลง Dance ต้องนี่ อัดเสียงตัวเอง(หรือเสียงอะไรก็ได้) สร้าง loop เสียงจากเสียงต้นฉบับ ใส่effect ให้เสียง , หรือจะเลือกใช้เสียงตัวอย่างที่มีอยู่ใน Library ก็ได้

เครื่องมือในการ Mix เสียง
- เหมือนโปรแกรมแต่งเพลงอื่นๆ ที่แยกเป็น Tracking อัดแต่ละอุปกรณ์ลงในแต่ละ Track ปรับเสียงดัง เบา ซ้าย ขวา แยก Track ได้, มี mute ไปปิดเสียงของ track ที่ไม่ต้องการ, มี solo เพื่อเล่น Track นั้นๆ Track เดียว (ข้อจำกัดคือ มีได้ 8 Track  เต็มที่)
- สามารถแยกเพลงเป็นท่อนๆได้ (เรียกว่า Section) – 1 section มีห้องตัวโน้ตได้สูงสุด 32 Bar, ใน 1 เพลงมีได้ 10 Section สูงสุด, สามารถ Copy เสียงในแต่ละ Section ไปไว้อีก Section นึงได้ หรือจะ Copy ทั้ง Section ไปเป็น Section ใหม่เลยก็ได้
- มี Cut / Copy / Delete / Loop / Split เสียงในท่อนๆต่าง
- ปรับ Tempo ได้ , ปรับ Key ได้, ปรับ Octave ได้
- มี master effect เสียง echo เสียง reverb

ทำเพลงเสร็จแล้ว
- กดปุ่มเดียว Email ส่งเพลงไปหาเพื่อนได้เลย หรือ จะ Export ไปใส่ไว้ใน iTunes ฟังเองก็ได้

ข้อจำกัด – เท่าที่ผมจะคิดได้เวลานี้
- ใน Guitar ไม่สามารถ จะเอา Chord ที่อยู่คนละ Key มาวางไว้ในหน้าจอเดียวกันได้ ถ้าเพลงมี 2 key ต้องเล่นเป็น 2 track
- ใน Guitar ตอนเล่นโน๊ต ไม่สามารถเล่น note ที่คอในๆของกีตาร์ได้ มีแค่ note ที่ต้นคอ
- มีแค่ 8 Track, ถ้าทำเพลงที่ซับซ้อนมากๆคงจะไม่พอ

อ่านมาไม่เข้าใจ….จัดให้!!!….ดูวีดีโอกันเลย
- เป็นวีดีโอแสดงว่าโปรแกรมมีลูกเล่นอะไรบ้าง และผมลองสร้างเพลงแบบง่ายๆ(มั่ว ;p )ให้ดู Videoเป็นแบบ HD น่ะ เปิดเต็มจอจะสะใจมาก

Voice Band แอพทำเพลง ง่ายๆถ้าไม่คิดอะไรมาก

Voice Band แอพพลิเคชั่นสำหรับทุกคนที่รักเสียงเพลง พร้อมให้ประสบการณ์ลูกเล่นใหม่ๆที่ไม่เคยมีมาก่อนบนเครื่องสมาร์ทโฟนใดๆนั่น ก็คือ การให้ผู้ใช้สามารถทำเพลงชนิดที่มีอุปกรณ์ครบทั้งวงได้ด้วยตนเอง โดยอาศัยเพียงแค่ ทำเสียงร้องเป็นทำนองและจังหวะเท่านั้น!!

ฟังดูแล้วเหมือนเป็นเรื่องเหลือเชื่อที่เราจะจำลอง เสียงดนตรีทั้งวงได้จากเสียงร้องเอง ไม่ต้องให้นักดนตรีที่ไหนมาช่วยอีก 

โดยเสียงที่ร้องเข้าไปสามารถถูกเปลี่ยนเป็นเสียงของ กีตาร์ Power Chords, Lead,Bass ,Sax, Synth 1, Synth 2, Organ , รูบแบบกลองต่างๆ Kick/Snace, Hi-Hat,Crash

เวลาการอัดเสียงจะแยกกันคนละครั้งกันสำหรับเครื่อง ดนตรีแต่ละชิ้น โดยให้ร้องเป็นทำนองและจังหวะ เมื่อเสร็จตัวแรก ก็อัดตัวถัดไปโดยจะมี sound ของเครื่องดนตรีที่เราอัดก่อนหน้าไว้ replay ไปด้วยระหว่างที่เรากำลังอัดเสียงใหม่ ทำไปเรื่อยๆจนกระทั่งได้เครื่องดนตรีและเสียงร้องเพลงจนครบ

ในขณะที่ร้องควรอยู่ในสถานที่ ที่เสียงค่อนข้างเงียบหน่อยเพื่อป้องกันความคลาดเคลื่อนที่อาจทำให้ผิดคีย์ ได้ ไม่ควรร้องเบาจนเกินไปและแนะนำให้ร้องออกเสียง “Baa” ในแต่ละจังหวะ แอพฯบอกว่าให้หลีกเลี่ยงการใช้เสียง “Laa”

และสำหรับใครที่พอมีพื้นฐานด้านดนตรีมาบ้างจะช่วยได้มาก เพราะ ตัวแอพฯสามารถรองรับการปรับแต่งระดับเสียงได้ ปรับคีย์สูง ต่ำ ถ้าเราร้องเพี้ยนผิดคีย์ หรือร้องคร่อมก็สามารถแก้ไขได้

จุดเด่น : จริงๆแล้วแอพฯนี้ถือว่าเป็น innovation กันเลยทีเดียว จุดเด่นคือความคิดสร้างสรรค์ของการทำแอพฯ และสามารถสร้างขึ้นมาให้ได้จริง  ใครที่อยากลองทำเพลงง่ายๆก็สามารถสร้างได้เองอย่างใจ ไม่ต้องง้อวงดนตรีแล้ว
